There’s no point in having a large shed/workshop if it’s stuffed full of junk and you can’t even get in there and that’s where I’ve found myself after getting my new shed last winter and not having the time or the weather conditions to do any more, but summer is here (and almost gone) so it’s time to get going!
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve got the guttering up and started working on workbenches and storage and I think that my shed will be awesome within no time!
Here are the workbenches I’ve been working on made from studwork timber from Wickes and I opted for some nice plywood for the worktops. The plywood is more expensive that other alternatives but it’s strong, won’t warp, and will last. I’ve got two built so far which are each four feet long and I’m going to built another two to go along the whole wall of the shed.
These give me a great place to work and the next step is to work on storage for all my tools.
Here’s a simple solution for my gardening tools and I’m also working on a tool wall for all my handtools too.
